I was adventuring in Pembrokeshire in Wales, near Velindre, when I found out that I was confirmed as the opening act for John Cale. That was a most happy day!
John was born in the neighbouring county of Carmarthenshire in the mining village of Garnant. It felt fitting to be there, in the land of his birth place, and so I said a thank you prayer to the wild sea in the winter sun and ran along the coastal path. A few tickets are still available for the show: www.dlwp.com/event/john-cale
There is lots more I would like to share with you. My next posts will be dedicated to John, to Wales, and to two amazing artists I met there last week: Annette de Mestre and Hugo Colville.
